About Barb

Barb Gelotte Tourtillotte (pronounced 'Tour-till-oh') has loved creating art from the beginning, demonstrating that love by drawing with crayons on her bedroom wall as a toddler… much to her parents chagrin. She attended Central Washington University and the Burnley School of Professional Art where she majored in Graphic Design and Illustration. After graduation she started a graphic design company called Graphicworks, designing logos, brochures, advertisements and book illustrations for many businesses and book publishers. She later moved to illustration/product design and currently licenses her artwork to over fifty companies for a myriad of top selling products. From whimsical snowmen to elegant florals, her work can be found on fabrics, dinnerware, giftware, home decor and paper goods throughout the world.

Barb, her husband Kirk and three children live in beautiful Washington State.
